How to create an Ad

The Ad section is currently only available as part of the Marquee Pro subscription.

The Ads panel in the Marquee Database allows you to upload and manage advertisements that appear in your digital playbill. This is a great way to highlight sponsors, local businesses, or upcoming events. Here’s a step-by-step guide to adding a new ad.


Step 1: Access the Ads Panel

Navigate to the Ads panel in the Marquee Database. This is where all ad creation and management takes place.


Step 2: Enter Advertiser Information

Begin by entering the Advertiser’s Name.

  • This helps keep your ad library organized, especially if you're working with multiple advertisers across seasons or productions.

Step 3: Upload the Ad Image

Click the upload area to select your ad image from your device.

  • File types supported: JPG or WEBP
  • Maximum file size: 1MB

At the bottom of the form, you’ll find a dropdown menu listing standard ad sizes. You can share these dimensions with advertisers to ensure optimal formatting and display.


Step 4: Add a Destination URL

Input the URL where users should be directed when they click the ad.

  • This can be a sponsor’s website, a ticketing page, or a promotional offer.

Step 5: Enter the Year

To help with long-term organization, enter the Year the ad is associated with.

  • This can help filter or locate ads when viewing your archive in the future.

Step 6: Submit and Edit

Once everything is filled out, click Submit to finalize the ad.

You can return to the Ads panel in the Marquee Database at any time to edit or update the ad content.
