How to create a Grantor

Grantors are organizations or institutions that provide funding support for your production, and the Grantors section of the Marquee helps you recognize them with logos, links, and categorized types. This guide walks you through creating a new Grantor in Step 6 of the Marquee Builder.

Step 1: Accessing the Grantor Section

In the Marquee Builder, navigate to Step 6, then select Grantors.

You will see two options:

1. Create New Grantor – To add a new funder to this event.
2. Connect Existing Grantor – To reuse a Grantor from a previous Marquee.

For this tutorial, we’ll select Create New Grantor.

Step 2: Enter Grantor Information

Grantor Name

Enter the full name of the Grantor organization.

Type

Select the appropriate Type from the dropdown menu.

Upload Logo

• Upload a horizontal-format logo for optimal mobile display.
• Accepted file types: JPG, PNG, or WEBP
• Maximum file size: 1MB

Add a URL

Include a link to the Grantor’s website.

• This link will be clickable on the Marquee, allowing users to learn more about your funders.

The Marquee you are creating this Grantor for will already be pre-selected and linked.

Step 3: Submit and Edit

Click Submit to save and attach your Grantor to the Marquee.

To make edits later:

• Visit the Sponsors & Donors panel in the Marquee Database, where you can manage your Grantor entries.
