How to create a Sponsor
A Sponsor is only available as part of the Marquee Pro subscription.
Creating a Sponsor allows you to feature and recognize the organizations or individuals who support your production. Sponsors can appear with logos and links, and can be marked as Season Sponsors for added visibility. Here’s how to create a new Sponsor in Step 6 of the Marquee Builder.
Step 1: Accessing the Sponsor Section
In the Marquee Builder, navigate to Step 6, then select Sponsor.
You’ll see two options:
- Create New Sponsor – To add a sponsor specific to this event.
- Connect Existing Sponsor – To reuse a sponsor from a previous Marquee.
For this tutorial, we’ll focus on creating a new sponsor.
Step 2: Enter Sponsor Details
Sponsor Name
Enter the full name of the sponsoring organization or individual.
Sponsor Type
Choose the sponsor type:
- Sponsor – A standard supporter of the current production.
- Season Sponsor – If selected, the Marquee will display a small label above the logo to indicate this elevated sponsorship status.
Upload Logo
- Upload a logo in horizontal format for best mobile display.
- Accepted file types: JPG, PNG, or WEBP
- Maximum file size: 1MB
Add a URL
Include a link to the sponsor’s website or profile. This will appear as a clickable logo within the Marquee.
The Marquee you are working on will already be pre-filled and associated with this sponsor entry.
Step 3: Submit and Edit
Once you’ve entered all the details, click Submit to finalize the sponsor and attach it to your Marquee.
To make updates in the future:
- Visit the Sponsors & Donors panel in the Marquee Database, where you can edit sponsor information, logos, or links.
