How to create a Local Listing

The Local section is only available as part of the Marquee Pro subscription.

The Locals feature allows you to showcase nearby businesses—like restaurants and bars—within your digital playbill. These listings help connect your audience with the surrounding community and can even include exclusive Marquee Deals. Here’s how to create a new Local listing in the Marquee Database.

Step 1: Access the Local Panel

Go to the Local panel in the Marquee Database. This is where you’ll add, manage, and assign local businesses to your Marquees.

Step 2: Add Basic Business Information

  • Business Name – Enter the name of the local business.

Local Type – Choose the appropriate category:

    • Grab a Bite – For restaurants
    • Raise a Glass – For bars
  • Subtitle – Add a short phrase describing the business type or style (e.g., Mexican Food, Irish Pub).
  • Summary – Write a brief description to highlight what makes this business special.
  • Address – Enter the full address of the business.

Step 3: Upload a Logo

Upload a logo or image that represents the business.

  • Supported file types: JPG, PNG, or WEBP
  • Maximum file size: 1MB

Step 4: Add a URL

Include a website URL for the business. This will appear as a clickable link in the Marquee, allowing audience members to learn more or get directions.

Step 5: Optional – Add a Marquee Deal

If the business is offering a special promotion or discount to your audience:

  1. Check the box to indicate that you’re including a Marquee Deal.
  2. Select the Marquee where this listing will appear.
  3. Click Next to proceed.
  4. Enter the Marquee Deal Info—such as “10% off with your ticket stub” or “Buy one appetizer, get one free.”

Step 6: Submit and Edit

Click Submit to save your Local listing.
