How to create Social Media
The Social Media section allows you to highlight official social handles and external links related to your event or producing organization. This guide walks you through the steps for adding social media details in Step 5 of the Marquee Builder.
Step 1: Accessing the Social Media Section
In the Marquee Builder, go to Step 5 and select Social Media.
You will have two options:
- Create New Social Media – To enter new handles and links for this event.
- Use Existing Social Media – To reuse a set you've created for a past Marquee.
For this tutorial, we’ll walk through creating new Social Media.
Step 2: Naming Your Social Media Collection
Start by entering a Name for this Social Media entry.
- This name will help distinguish different social handle sets if your Marquee includes multiple social media collections (e.g., for different departments or collaborators).
- Your Marquee will be automatically linked to the form.

Step 3: Entering Social Media Handles
Platform Handles
Enter only the handle (e.g.,
@thisismyhandle
) for each platform.Supported handles:
- TikTok
- X (formerly Twitter)
The system will automatically generate the correct links from the handles provided.
Step 4: Entering Full Social Media Links
You can also include full URLs to other platforms:
- Website
- YouTube
- Vimeo
- Spotify
- Apple Music
Paste the full link for each, and they will be displayed accordingly in the Marquee.

If you're a Marquee Pro member, you can embed live social media feeds directly into your Marquee:
- Instagram Feed
- Click the authorization link provided.
- Your Instagram account must be a business account per Meta API guidelines.
- Facebook Feed
- Paste the full URL to the Facebook profile or page you want to display.

To make changes later:
