How to create Media
The Media section of the Marquee lets you showcase production photos and videos to give your audience a behind-the-scenes look or highlight key moments from your event. This guide walks you through how to add Media in Step 5 of the Marquee Builder.
Step 1: Accessing the Media Section
In the Marquee Builder, navigate to Step 5, where you’ll find the option to manage Media.
You will have two choices:
- Create New Media – To upload photos and videos for the current event.
- Use Existing Media – To reuse media you’ve already uploaded for a past Marquee.
For this guide, we’ll walk through creating new Media.
Step 2: Adding Photos
You’ll see that your current Marquee is already linked to the new Media entry.
Uploading Images
- You can upload up to 10 images.
- Drag and drop images into the upload area, or click the area to open your file browser.
- Accepted file types: JPG or WEBP
- Maximum file size per image: 1MB
Once your images are uploaded, click Next to continue.
Step 3: Adding Videos
You can include up to 3 videos in your Media section.
To add a video:
- Paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL into each available input field.
- Ensure the video is set to public or unlisted so it can be viewed within the Marquee.
Step 4: Submitting and Editing Media
Once all your media content is added, click Submit to save and attach it to your Marquee.
To make future edits:
- Visit the Components panel in the Marquee Database, where you can update images or video links as needed.
