How to create a Musician List

The Musician List allows you to add and manage the musicians performing in your event. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of adding a new Musician Listing in the Marquee Builder.


Step 1: Accessing the Musician List Section

To begin, navigate to Step 4 in the Marquee Builder, where you will find the Musician List setup.

You will have two options:

  1. Create a New Musician List – For adding musicians to this event for the first time.
  2. Connect an Existing Musician List – If you have previously created a Musician List for another Marquee and want to reuse it.

For this guide, we will walk through creating a new Musician List.


Step 2: Adding Musicians

Once you move to the next screen, you will see the Marquee already assigned for this musician entry.

Below that, you will find 12 default musician placements, with an additional 14 available under the “Add More” dropdown.

Adding a Musician

  1. Click the + Add button under Musician 1.
  2. A list of existing musicians will appear. You can:
    • Select an existing musician if they have been previously created.
    • Create a new musician by clicking Create New Staff.
  3. If creating a new musician:
    • Set the Role (e.g., Violin, Cello, Percussion).
    • Enter the Name(s) of the musicians in this role.
    • If multiple people hold this role, separate their names with a line break (Enter key) for correct formatting.
  4. Click Submit to save the musician.

Step 3: Finalizing the Musician List

Once all musician positions have been added, click Submit to finalize the setup.

Your Musician List is now successfully created and linked to your Marquee! 🎼

Editing the Musician List

  • If you need to edit the Musician List later, you can do so from the People panel in the Marquee Dashboard.
