How to create Production Staff

The Production Staff section allows you to add and manage key staff members responsible for various production roles in your event. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of adding a new Production Staff in the Marquee Builder.

Step 1: Accessing the Production Staff Section

To begin, navigate to Step 4 in the Marquee Builder, where you will find the Production Staff setup.

You will have two options:

  1. Create a New Production Staff – For adding staff members to this event for the first time.
  2. Connect an Existing Production Staff – If you have previously created a Production Staff for another Marquee and want to reuse it.

For this guide, we will walk through creating a new Production Staff.

Step 2: Adding Production Staff Members

Once you move to the next screen, you will see the Marquee already assigned for this staff entry.

Below that, you will find 12 default staff placements, with an additional 14 available under the “Add More” dropdown.

Adding a Staff Member

  1. Click the + Add button under Production Staff Member 1.
  2. A list of existing staff will appear. You can:
    • Select an existing staff member if they have been previously created.
    • Create a new staff member by clicking Create New Staff.
  3. If creating a new staff member:
    • Set the Role (e.g., Front of House, Technical Director).
    • Enter the Name(s) of the staff in this role.
    • If multiple people hold this role, separate their names with a line break (Enter key) for correct formatting.
  4. Click Submit to save the staff member.

Step 3: Adding Multiple Production Staff Groups (Optional)

If you have multiple production teams (e.g., two production companies collaborating on an event), you can create separate Production Staff groups for each organization.

  • Use the "Organization Title" field to name each staff group.
  • This helps distinguish between different teams working on the event.

Step 4: Finalizing Production Staff Setup

Once all Production Staff members have been added, click Submit to finalize the setup.

Your Production Staff is now successfully created and linked to your Marquee! 🎭

Editing Production Staff

  • If you need to edit the Production Staff later, you can do so from the People panel in the Marquee Dashboard.
