How to create Venue Staff


The Venue Staff section allows you to add and manage staff members assigned to a specific venue for your event. This guide will walk you through the process of adding new Venue Staff in the Marquee Builder.


Step 1: Accessing Venue Staff

To begin, navigate to Step 2 in the Marquee Builder, where you will find the Venue Staff section.

Before adding staff, you will need to either:

  • Create a New Venue for this event, or
  • Attach an Existing Venue that has already been created.

It’s important to set the Venue first before adding Venue Staff to ensure staff members are correctly linked to the right location.


Step 2: Adding Venue Staff Members

  1. Click Create New Venue Staff.
  2. A reminder will appear to check if the Venue has already been created or attached.
  3. On the next screen, you will see the Marquee and Venue already set for this staff entry.

Below, you will find 12 default staff placements, with an additional 14 available under the “Add More” dropdown.


Step 3: Assigning Staff Roles and Names

  1. Click the + Add button under Staff Member 1.
  2. A list of existing staff will appear. You can:
    • Select an existing staff member from the list if they have been created previously.
    • Create a new staff member by clicking Create New Staff.
  3. If creating a new staff member:
    • Enter the Role (e.g., Front of House, Box Office Manager).
    • Enter the Name(s) of the staff in this role.
  4. Click Submit to save the staff member.

If multiple people hold this role, separate their names with a line break (Enter key) for correct formatting.


Step 4: Finalizing Venue Staff Setup

Repeat the process for all remaining staff positions.

Once all Venue Staff members have been added, click Submit, and your Venue Staff setup is complete! 🎭

If you need to edit your Venue Staff later, you can do so in the Marquee Database.
